Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 4 cups thinly sliced Yukon Gold potatoes
  • 1 small onion diced
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Brown ground beef; add onions and seasonings.
  • Stir in soup and milk, simmer for 2–3 minutes.
  • Layer potatoes, beef mixture, and cheese in a greased baking dish.
  • Repeat layers, ending with cheese.
  • Cover with foil and bake 45 mins.
  • Uncover, bake 15–20 mins until bubbly.
  • Let rest 10 mins before serving.

Notes:
Parboil potatoes for faster baking. Swap beef with turkey or plant-based protein if preferred.
